Ride Right Ride Alive

Grooming

Important Information For All Groomed Trail Users About Grooming: Effective grooming is a "Science". Various factors such as, volume of sled traffic, temperature, snow condition and snow base all play a part in the grooming process. Whenever possible try to keep off a freshly groomed trail to allow the snow time to set up. If you must ride a freshly groomed trail, be considerate of all users and try your best to avoid "tearing it up"

Keep in mind...the groomer can be out on the trails any day at any time and anywhere.

NOTE: If you encounter an issue regarding trail safety or a problem with one of the shelters while riding in The Graystokes or Myra/Idabel area, please let the Club members know at sledkelowna@gmail.com or contact a club member on the Contacts list so we can rectify the problem.

Feb 18th.. At the Chalet there is currently an aproximate measurement of about 4.5ft. The snowfall over the past 2 to 3 days has deposited about 8 to 10 inches of fresh stuff. Warm temps have made the snow a bit heavy at lower levels but nice conditions up higher.
