VISITORS -- TRAVEL DIRECTIONS TO GRAYSTOKES.
Come to Kelowna, turn east off of Hwy 97(Harvey Ave) onto Highway 33. Travel towards Big WhiteSki Resort for aprox. 24 kms. Watch carefully for the Graystokes Snowmobile Area sign indicating to take your next left turn. Just a little ways past this sign and immediately after the bridge, turn left onto Three Forks Rd which will take you up a slope, curve to the left and take you across a cattle guard. Three Forks Road has residential driveways so drive with care and expect two way traffic. Approximately 7 Km up Three Forks you'll come to a fork in the road. Left goes up and right goes down. Go right, down a short slope and across another bridge. Once you cross the bridge you will meet our volunteer trail pass sales person. Purchase your trail pass here or show your membership card and please be considerate to our volunteers. At this point the road gets narrow with very soft plowed shoulders for aprox. 1km that love to pull trucks and trailers into the ditch, so drive very carefully and use extreme caution when passing oncoming traffic. Stay on this road for aprox. another 3 km where you will find the KSC parking lot on the left. be considerate when parking so you leave enough room for your fellow sledders to load and unload and get their vehicles out if you have not yet returned.
Climate: The average annual snowfall for the Graystokes area is around 27ft. Riding has started as early as November but usually doesn't get good til around the middle to end of December. The snow pack usually stays around until about April but some avid sledders have been known to ride the upper areas as late as June. Average temperature runs about -12 but on clear cold days it can get down to the -20s at the 7000 ft level atop Jubilee or Moore mountains. Looking North from the top of these mountains you can see forever, all the way to the Selkirik Mountains off in the distance.
Travel Dircetions to Idabel Lake.
From the Hwy 97, Hwy 33 Junction, drive aprox. 30 kms up Hwy 33 towards the Big White turnoff. Go 6 kms past the Big White Rd turnoff then turn right onto McCulloch Rd. Go aprox .5 km to the fork where you will stay to the left onto the 201 forestry Service Rd. Travel 4 kms to the Idabel Lake Community. turn right onto Idabel Lake Rd and stay on it until you come to the lake and the parking lot just past the resort sign. You have arrived!

Reminder For Visitors and Anyone Using The KSC Groomed Trail System:
Trail Passes or Club Memberships are required to ride on the Club Maintained Trails and for use of Club Maintained Facilities.
